Alan has worked in organisations for 23 years. A degree in Chemistry and Masters in Petroleum Engineering led to 15 years in the oil industry with I.D.F, British Petroleum and Expro Group Integrated Services (E.G.I.S.). He was part of the E.G.I.S leadership team that grew the business from start-up, to a 140 employee, £10 million turnover international organisation in 3 ½ years. Alan left the oil industry in 1997 and re-trained in Personal and Organisational Development through an M.A in Development Training, numerous Facilitation and Group Leadership trainings and training as a psychotherapist.

He is currently working towards Professional Coach status via the Academy of Executive Coaching Advanced Diploma. He has worked as a consultant with Impact and Sheppard Moscow before setting up his own business in 2005. Alan is currently involved with Royal Bank, Standard Life, Frame Creates, the Scottish Executive, Skanska, and the Children's Panel.

Alan's combination of business experience, psychological knowledge and self-awareness support his creative and adaptable approach to working with individuals, teams and organisations.
