The Transformational Change of the Year Award
This new award has been designed to recognise the organisation operating in the public or private sector that has successfully refocused, restructured or strategically re-aligned to deliver more for less, become more competitive and achieve more sustainable growth.
Short-listing took place 20th September with the awards ceremony and gala dinner on 8th November 2011
Harthill Co-Founder, Jackie Keeley, was invited to judge this new category at the National Business Awards. Relating her own business experience to that of the award, Jackie says
“My career began in Youth Training, where I quickly understood that we all need good leaders and that being technically excellent at a job does not ensure you can lead effectively. That experience led me to invest 30 years in leadership development. In 1985, I co-founded Harthill, building on my work with major private sector organisations as an independent consultant. Harthill is a leading-edge leadership development consultancy specialised in supporting organisational transformations. If what ensures effective leadership is no longer a mystery to me, I continue to develop the craft of how to support leaders in serving others well.”
Why Jackie decided to judge the National Business Awards
"I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to judge the NBA Transformational Change of the Year Award. Leading a successful organisational transformation is a particularly tough challenge to pull off in any climate: it is a necessary challenge to face in the current one. Leaders who achieve this not only deserve to be recognised and celebrated, but must be".
