The Action Inquiry Approach to Leading Strategy
Our approach to leading strategy builds action inquiry capacity across an organisation in three stages. If we were to work with you, this is how it might un-fold.
Stage One: Create a Spark
(1 to 3 months). This involves designing and delivering 'Strategic Sparks' workshops to create a new sense of purpose and possibility within your business. Typically we work with your CEO and executive team, as well as running large scale workshops and undertaking analysis, to spark off new ideas, directions and momentum.
Stage Two: Fanning the Flames
(3 to 6 months). This involves taking the results of stage one into your organisation and creating practical business strategies. The idea is to ramp up participation by using operational teams to test and elaborate our initial ideas into effective actions.
Stage three: Walls of Fire
(6 months to 3 years). Finally we embed our Action Inquiry approach with senior leaders and business teams to adapt and adjust the strategy as it evolves. Think of it as a process of 'learning by doing' during which leaders from across the business share their assessments of what's working and what's not.
