Building (your clients') Emotional Resilience
hosted by Jonathan Reams
Resilience has come into the spotlight lately and it is important to focus on its emotional foundations. While it is common to describe what good resilience and emotional intelligence look like, applying a developmental process for building them is often lacking.
The Building Emotional Resilience (BER) programme, run in partnership with Adeptify, uses micro-developmental practices that guide people through a process of building self-awareness in layers and then using those building blocks to enable a new habit that can fuel an engine of ongoing development. The programme is designed to support individual as well as group processes through a combination of online self-paced instructions with coaching and/or social learning. The curriculum is grounded in participants’ everyday life. This enables ongoing learning from direct, personally relevant and developmentally appropriate experiences and meaning-making.
This free-of-charge 2-hour session will provide a brief introduction to the programme (which will be offered in full in the autumn), exploring how it can work for coaching clients and teams, and will include a short exercise to get a taste of the programme activities and address questions about how it works.
