Development Profile

Welcome to the Harthill profiling process 

The Leadership Development Profile is a renowned leadership development resource. It is based on a pioneering developmental model, the Leadership Development Framework. In the past three decades over 16,000 leaders in many countries and cultures have been profiled with the LDP, in connection with developmental programmes, coaching engagements and team development, by Harthill LDP-authorised practitioners – organisational consultants, coaches, talent professionals, occupational psychologists, and managers committed to truly developing their people and systems. 


There are three stages to the process:

We have a global network of 670 LDP practitioners in 44 countries who commission LDP Reports for their clients and have been trained to conduct insightful LDP Coaching Debriefs using the profile data, to explore their unique development and leadership trajectory. 


If you do not have a coach that is LDP-authorised, you can still receive your own unique LDP Report and we can match you with the most suitable coach for your location and circumstances. Please note that there is a fee for the LDP Report and Coaching Debrief and you can contact us for more information here. 


How it works:


  1. Click on the arrow below and request your online LDP Form by providing your name and email address. Please note that you can use the language dropdown in the top right corner of this page to suit. 
  2. You will receive an email with your own unique link to the LDP Form and instructions on how to complete it 
  3. Once you complete and submit the LDP Form it will be sent to specially trained raters where your LDP Form is carefully rated for the Action Logics
  4. Your personal LDP Report is sent to your LDP-authorised coach who will also provide your LDP Coaching Debrief to help you understand your profile in context and to decide how to work with it.
  5. Your LDP-authorised coach will arrange a date and time for your LDP Coaching Debrief and provide you with preparation notes.
