Beyond the Doing: building your capacity in chaotic times

Hosted by Natalie Goni

As coaches, facilitators, leaders and professionals, we are being asked to hold increasing amounts of challenge and complexity for ourselves and our clients. This holistic and practical session incorporates somatic exploration through Non-Linear Movement Method®, guided self-reflection and group/peer coaching to explore and grow our capacities for interoception, responsiveness and locating pleasure, vitality and aliveness in the body. An important task in chaotic times.

The Non Linear Movement Method® is a “no force/no imposition” somatic modality and can be practiced by anyone, regardless of physical health, ability, fitness level or age. NLMM® is guided to music and is a practice done mostly on hands and knees, sitting, kneeling and/or lying down.

This 2-hour session blends:

  • Guided Non-Linear Movement Method® Practice: Designed to help you smooth your nervous system, release tension, process emotions, and unlock stuck energy, NLMM® supports you to reconnect with yourself and gain fresh perspectives.
  • Self-Reflection Prompts: To explore the deeper questions of your vitality and aliveness in these times and uncover new insights
  • Group/Peer Coaching: Sharing in small group breakouts and plenary so you can explore and expand your insights in a supportive setting

You will need:

  • a yoga mat or blanket/something soft and comfortable to put on the floor to move and lie down on
  • to wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing you can move in
  • a quiet private area where you can practice undisturbed
